PJ Germain is an award-winning filmmaker, creative director and film editor based in Los Angeles, California.
Raised just outside of New York City, PJ developed an affinity for storytelling at a very early age and pursued his craft into college and beyond.
As a fellow of the American Film Institute's Directing Program, PJ was awarded by the LucasFilm Foundation, Deluxe Laboratories, Kodak Film and Panavision for the production of his Master's Thesis Film, GHOST LIGHT, starring Abraham Benrubi and Jonathan Thompson.
PJ's professional career started with the post production teams of James Cameron's AVATAR, Alexandre Aja's PIRANHA 3D and the television series DEADLIEST CATCH. He is a member of the Motion Picture Editor's Guild, and was an Assistant Editor for the FX Series KINDRED, by showrunner Branden Jacobs Jenkins as well as the Academy Award Shortlisted film GO FOR GRANDMA, directed by Sabrina Doyle. PJ edited the film VIOLENT DELIGHTS starring the Florida Project star Bria Vinaite, and most recently edited the short film, MINOR KEY, for director/actor Brady Noon.
In 2024, PJ won two Webby Awards for his behind the camera work with Cool Beans Comedy, headed by producers Corey Martin Craig and Suzanne Luna.
PJ has recently finished work on the film WORST THING YOU'VE EVER DONE, which will hit the festival circuit in 2025.
